The Rugby Football League is pleased to announce the 2018 Champion Schools Finals Day will be hosted at Victoria Park, Warrington on Friday, July 6.
The celebration of schools Rugby League will see seven finals take place with the National Girls and Boys Finals for years 8, 9 and 10, alongside the Year 7 Girls showpiece.
After taking on board feedback from participating schools, the decision was made to move the headline event into the academic year and into the north of the country to reduce the financial burden on schools, players and families alike.
Following a competitive tender process, the Warrington Wolves Foundation have been awarded with hosting this year.
Ebony Giblin, Education Lead at the Rugby Football League, said: "We are looking forward to working with the Warrington Wolves Foundation to host this year's National Champion Schools finals at Victoria Park.
"The venue is ideal for the flagship schools competition and we are anticipating large crowds to cheer on the finalists.
"Moving the finals to a new venue will present some exciting new opportunities as we look to celebrate the best of Schools Rugby League."
