League leaders London Broncos produced another superb performance to remain out in front in the Betfred Championship as they swept aside pre-season favourites Toronto Wolfpack 47-16.
Apirana Pewhairangi, Matthew Davies, Rhys Williams, Jordan Johnstone, Alex Walker (2) and James Cunningham all ran in tries as the side from the capital kept up their 100% start to the season with four wins from four.
Toronto’s scorers were Richard Whiting, Andrew Dixon and Liam Kay.
Further north, Neil Jukes oversaw his last game in charge of Leigh Centurions as they suffered their fourth defeat of the season, this time at the hands of 12-man Toulouse Olympique.
The former Super League side had led 20-6 at one point following two tries apiece from Matty Dawson and Liam Hood and they looked in the driving seat when Eddy Pettybourne was sent off just before half-time.
However the French side came back riled after the break and after Rhys Curran’s first half try, further efforts from Gavin Marguerite (2), Bastien Canet, Mark Kheirallah and Stan Robin saw them pinch a 32-26 win.
Jukes resigned from his position as head coach at the Leigh Sports Village on Monday.
Shaun Robinson and Anthony Thackeray both scored twice as Featherstone Rovers went third by beating winless Sheffield Eagles 58-14.
Dewsbury Rams also picked up their third win of the season as they defeated Swinton Lions 20-0 at the Tetley’s Stadium.
Elsewhere on Sunday Halifax picked up a 26-10 win at Rochdale Hornets whilst Batley Bulldogs beat Barrow Raiders.
